Owner of the Slaf Hikarme, a trading company, she built it up after being a slave and killing her former owner. For many years after escaping her life as a slave she was unable to be close on a personal level with anyone, until she finally let down her guard with Shkai'ra Mek-Kermek's-kin. After sucessfully building her fledgling trading company up to ownership of two boats, she was betrayed by Habiku Smoothtongue who drugged her and had his henchmen kill her.

Unfortunately for Habiku, his men sold Megan into slavery across the Lanntic ocean. Ultimately she escaped slavery again and met Shkai'ra. (This story is told in Saber and Shadow.) Megan and Shkai'ra returned to her homeland and tried to regain control of her trading company. The Cage

Megan is a full blooded Zak, a diminutive people (Megan is just over four feet tall) who often have sorcerous powers. Megan's powers are limited but sometimes come in handy. She is extremely quick and deadly with the large number of knives she typically carries.
