Growing up in the isolated northern-midwest of North Dakota/Minnesota, US of A, I spent my informative years reading, watching TV and generally being a lazy dreamer. Once my work VISA was approved, I quickly emmigrated out of the icy land of frozen ears and few women. Great adventures awaited me in the mythical land of O-HI-O. Soon, I married a maiden of the land and we had several children.

Picking up a flyer, I enlisted in the IT-brigade. Assigned to C-Company, I was selected to learn the assassin arts of pr'ject manglement. My squad was part of an emissary troup to treaty with the Empire, view their offerings of peace and negotiate a partnership. The treachury quickly became aparent as promised goods failed or were poisoned beyond use. Throughout the wars, C-Company was absorbed by the Running-Man Army.

The following server squirmishes and infamous Browser War took many casualties until bands of freedom fighters joined the ranks under a mysterious open source banner. I hold nothing but respect for the Mozillian Army and Googlionites. Alas, C-Company took too many casualties along the way and we few remaining were eventually disbanded, ending my service in the InnerWeb Wars.

It's hard to leave the IT-brigade once joined, however. After a tireless search, I joined up with a different C-Company. Again, I find myself leading emissary missions. This time to distant Offshorinne.

In my personal life, my wife and I strive to teach our children values and skills. I still read, but have begun practicing the herbal arts of blog and teaching the lore of wikification.
